Following the cancellation of Spa World Rallycross of Benelux 2020, there was the question what will happen with the FIA European Rallycross Championship. FIA, IMG and the organizer at Nürburgring today revealed that we will see the Euro Supercars racing besides WRX and Super1600.
We spoke to Tim Whittington, Championship Coordinator at IMG, and he told us, “All classes will run four qualifyings. We are quite sure we can manage that.”
The teams have been informed and they have a choice of placing an entry for Nürburgring or get the entry fee paid for Spa World Rallycross of Benelux 2020 refunded.
We will hopefully soon be able to publish entry lists for all three classes.
